The ICCC offers opportunities for the Irish-Quebec business community to get together on formal occasions where the ICCC acts as host for visiting dignitaries and trade groups.
In addition, we offer luncheon meetings featuring business and governmental speakers from Canada and Ireland.
Participation in these activities brings the added benefit of contact with fellow business people in the Irish-Quebec and European business communities.
Informal events include the ICCC’s monthly Craic agus Comhrá and pub quizzes.
In cooperation with the other European chambers of commerce and trade associations or separately, conferences and webinars may be held dealing with selected areas of business and commerce.
The Montreal chapter of the ICCC is in regular contact with the other chapters of the ICCC in Canada as well as with the Ireland-Canada Business Association in Dublin. Although each chamber is an autonomous organisation, members are encouraged to list in “Green Pages”, the Canada-wide ICCC business directory that is exclusive to ICCC members. In Montreal, the ICCC is an active participant in Carrefour Europe, a one-day forum organised by European chambers for Quebec companies wishing to expand in Europe.
ICCC members may be extended discounted rates for inter-chamber and national events.
The Events committee is headed up by ICCC Montreal Vice-President Carol McCormick.
